Sound

*

liveVoyager allows you to manage both audio input and output, and related hardware. The sounds manager is PulseAudio. Virtually every hardware is automatically managed, recognized and configured at its best.
To access the management screens just right-click the icon of the sound applet in the system tray, as shown in the figure below.

*

You can access the audio configuration and management tool, divided into several tabs. In any case, at the top of the window there is a slider that can increase or decrease the audio volume.
In the first tab you can set the sound volume. Alarms and preset sounds are disabled.

*

In the "Playback" tab you can see the volume levels for the system sounds. You can see also the instrument that is using the sound card, and the stereo output volume (left and right)

In the "Recording" tab you can see the instruments that are recording and set the input volume of them.

In the "Output" tab you can set output sounds devices. You can choose the device, the audio balance (left and right) if you set the stereo option, and pluged-in devices (speakers or headphones, or both).

In the "Input" tab you can set the recording devices, and the input volume values.

In the "Configuration" tab you can define what is the device used to manage audio. You can choose it from the drop-down menu.
